Procurement Management involves getting work done by other people.
We focus on the planning, decision making, coordination and execution that are integral parts of procurement. As part of the decision making processes, we will assess the feasibility to carry stock in-house or rather have it delivered directly to site. Procurement therefore involves a buyer organisation engaging an outside seller (vendor or contractor) to provide goods or services.
Our Procurement Management service includes the contract management and change control processes required to administer contracts or purchase orders.
Purchasing
We monitor the state of the maintenance processes and predict material requirements and balance the cost and risk for the business to run more efficient and cost effectively. Through our advanced automation and control solutions, we direct the purchasing of material to branch out into an automated interval-based, a meter-based or an event-driven process where the requisitions are triggered by a variety of signals and where we can manage the stock levels in a lean just-in-time manner.
Vendor Management
Timing is an essential element when it comes to running maintenance on an efficient and cost effective basis. When stock levels are kept very lean and purchase requisitions are issued just-in-time, vendor management becomes a critical component. We therefore evaluate the vendors in terms of a set of criteria before placing their names on a vendor list, which is then followed up by regular audits.
