This highlights the fact that asset managers must know and understand the condition of their infrastructures assets, including the estimated cost of their deferred maintenance. If they know their asset’s conditions and deferred maintenance cost, they will best be able to budget for and prioritise their infrastructures asset’s repair efforts.
